The joint painting and calligraphy exhibition of the contemporary artists Mr. He Jiaying and Mr. Guanjun was held on Oct 12th, 2013. Social celebrities from all walks of life including Zhang Huaixi, Yu Qiuyu, Jiang Kun, Li Ruohong, Bian Liunian, Han Qiaosheng, representatives from party, government and military system and other 1000 art lovers attended the opening ceremony at Suzhou Art Gallery. Friends coming all the way from different parts of China gathered in this historical ancient city. They talked freely about how Chinese artists go abroad to promote eastern civilization while appreciating 130 pieces of outstanding artworks. Dr. Li Ruohong, the founder of China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, said that, Asian economic development and political voice have been extensively concerned throughout the world. However, due to different reasons, some of its excellent culture and art are still lack of common cognition in international society. Promoting the awareness of eastern culture needs national joint efforts.
