On themorning of Feb.24th, Mr. Xu Xiaodong, deputy President of Huazhong Universityof Science and Technology (HUST) together with directors of Institute of Global Governance and departments of social sciences, Mr.Zhang Qi, President of China Development Research Institute, visited Beijing International Peace Culture Foundationrespectively. Mr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of China World Peace Foundation (CWPF)and Director-General of Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation (BJIPCF)explored with the guests at Peace Garden Museum the topics of think-tankbuilding, academic results, goal of sustainable development, establishment of“Belt&Road” Science and Technology Zones, employment and business start-upsof collegegraduates, urban development, global governance and science-based assessment system, productivity powered by Big Data andinternational ecological environment, etc.

Allparticipants of the discussions agreed that, both meetings were well-balancedand fruitful academic discussions based on the ideal of “Peace+1” with itsextensions in global perspective, policy guidance, academic achievements and social practices, which also includedexpectancy of reforms.Before the meetings,experts and scholars also visited thePeace Garden Museum.
