H.E. Mr. Masood Khalid, Pakistan ambassador to China, and Dr. Li Ruohong, Honorary Pakistan Investment Counselor and president of China World Peace Foundation, along with Pakistan officials had a work discussion on December 7th, 2016 at Embassy of Pakistan to China. The ambassador briefed Dr. Li on the status quo and progress of some major ongoing projects under the umbrella of CPEC including Gwadar port, hydro power, wind power, solar power, as well as infrastructure projects such as Qaraqurum road and Peshawar- Karachi motorway. Dr. Li proposed to cement the bilateral ties, bolster economic and social development and improve people’s livelihood by building sister communities and collaborating with international organizations.

The Pakistan embassy plans to co-host an artist exhibition with China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation in Beijing March next year.
