China-Africa Cooperation and Development Forum in proceeding

OnDec 12th, 2013, Chairman of China World Peace Foundation Mr. LiRuohong and leaders from UNESCO, China-Africa Fund and Beijing InternationalPeace Culture Foundation held a forum at Peace Garden to discuss China-Africacooperation and development. On the meeting Mr. Li Ruohong introduced aboutChina-Africa Photography and Painting Exhibition co-hosted by China World PeaceFoundation, Embassy of Ethiopia, Embassy of Nigeria, Embassy of Tunisia andother international organizations from Nov 22nd to Nov 30th topromote cultural exchange between China and Africa. The principal of UNESCOspoke highly of Mr. Li’s efforts to accelerate the success of MDG through “PeacePlus One” mode. He also affirmed the public welfare modes of China World PeaceFoundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation. The leader ofChina-Africa Fund expressed his willingness to provide favorable assistance foreconomic and trade cooperation between China and Africa. Beijing InternationalPeace Culture Foundation proposed to work with embassies of African Unionmember states conduct an ambassador-level meeting in order to elevateChina-Africa cooperation to a higher level. 

So as to support the international public welfareprograms of China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace CultureFoundation, a sport and culture company in Beijing donated 1 million to BeijingInternational Peace Culture Foundation at the forum for the use of non-profitprograms initiated by Peace Garden Museum.
