Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation Organized Wu Changshuo Art Exhibition

On December 2, 2017, in memory of the 90th anniversary of the death of Wu Changshuo, a master of Chinese painting art, China World Peace Foundation, Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, National Institute of Culture and Arts life of the Ministry of Education organized the Master Returned Arts Exhibition at Riverside Museum, with the support of Chinese National Art Museum, United States Overseas TV Station and United States Overseas TV Networks.

In his speech at the opening ceremony, Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation, said that it is both an activity of promoting national culture, displaying Chinese civilization, enhancing national confidence and cultural self-confidence, but also of positive significance for promoting the protection and development of the Belt and Road cultural heritage. This is in line with the theme of the interactive cultural atlas along the Belt and Road jointly launched by UNESCO and the Foundation. All the paintings and porcelains displayed in the exhibition are celebrations and tribute to Master Wu Changshuo and Chinese traditional arts. The event bears a positive meaning in the present world where the craftsmanship spirit and cultural inheritance and innovation are being advocated. 

The exhibition was held in a rich and warm artistic atmosphere. About 200 delegates, experts and artists from all walks of life attended the opening ceremony.
