Nepali Delegation Visited China World Peace Foundation

Delegation consisting of five members from Nepal,companied by ambassador Nepal to China, led by joint secretary of primeministers’ office Mr. Shankar Prasad Pathak, visited Dr Li, Chairman of China WorldPeace Foundation at Peace Garden on Mar 10th, 2014. The two partiesreviewed their long historical good relationships, and discussed possiblecooperation about future development. Mr. Li introduced his organizationincluding its purposes, achievements, peace plus 1 public welfare mode andassistance to under-developed countries and regions as well as disadvantagedgroups.They both expressed their interests in keeping work together to strengthenmutual communication, understanding and to deepen bilateral relationshipsthrough exchange activities in culture, art, religion (mainly Buddhism) and travelprograms.  Mr. Shankar Prasad Pathakinvited Mr. Li to visit Nepal on behalf of the delegation and gave a specialNepali wood-carving to Mr. Li as a present.
