On the afternoon of July 19, Mr. Li Ruohong, director of the China Pakistan Friendship Association and president of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, attended on line the China-Pakistan Technology Investment Conference hosted by the Pakistani Embassy in China and the Pakistan Special Administrative Bureau of Technology Zone. More than 1000 enterprises, including domestic development zones and business associations,  jointly participated in the conference on line.

In his speech, Pakistan's Ambassador to China, H.E.Mr. Moin Haque, said that in the long history, the friendship between China and Pakistan has been as strong as stone for a long time, showing unique mutual trust and mutual respect. The China Pakistan Economic Corridor has also become a model project and flagship project of the "Belt&Road" initiative. The construction of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor has injected a strong impetus into Pakistan's industrialization, urbanization and digital development process. As a staunch friend of China, Pakistan is willing to continue to strengthen cooperation with Chinese enterprises in the fields of energy, manufacturing and information technology industries, actively learn from Chinese experience and wisdom, and continue to optimize the business environment, firmly promote the construction of China Pakistan Economic Corridor. The purpose of this conference is to aim at the cooperation in the fields of technology, academia, research and skill development, promote industrial cooperation in the fields of energy, transportation infrastructure and so on, promote the development of scientific and technological ecology, further promote the high-quality development of bilateral economic and trade cooperation, and jointly build a closer China Pakistan community of a shared future in the new era.

Mr. Amir Hashmi, chairman of the Pakistan special technical Zone Authority, and Mr. Cao Zhouhua, diplomat of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan, delivered keynote speeches with other guests later on .

In the second half of the meeting, a number of well-known Chinese enterprises shared their investment experience in Pakistan and answered many questions of domestic entrepreneurs about investing in Pakistan with the team of Pakistan Special Administrative Bureau of technology.
