On August 4, Dr. Li Ruohong, chairman of  China World Peace Foundation, attended the 57th Independence day and the armed forces' Day held by the Singapore Embassy in China.

During the event, Chairman Li talked with the Pakistani ambassador to China, the Barbados ambassador to China, the Comoros ambassador to China, the South African ambassador to China, and diplomats from the US embassy, the Thai Embassy, and the South Korean embassy etc., about promoting economic and cultural cooperation between countries in peace public welfare manner; He also took this opportunity to invite the diplomats to attend the 9th "Peace Garden Peace Festival " and the 4th  Global Youth photography competition award ceremony jointly organized by China World Peace Foundation and UNESCO on September 21st . The diplomats happily accepted the invitation and agreed to meet again in September.
