On January 9th, the new Pakistani Ambassador to China, H.E.Mr.KHALIL HASHMI, led a team of six people to hold work talks with Professor Li Ruohong, Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation, President of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, former Economic Advisor to the Pakistani government, and Secretary General Mr.Wang Hongzhuan at the Peace Garden Museum in Beijing.

During the talks,Chairman Li introduced to the new team of the leadership of the Pakistani Embassy in China, including H.E.Mr.KHALIL HASHMI, the long-term cooperation between the Foundation and the Pakistani government, and the series of projects of the "Belt and Road Cultural Interactive Atlas" developed with UNESCO. Chairman Li welcomed H.E.Mr.KHALIL HASHMI to use the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation as a platform for cooperation between the governments and the peoples of China and Pakistan during his tenure, integrating the diplomacy, economic and cultural exchanges between the two countries and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to promote regional peace and security.
After having listened to President Li's introduction, H.E.Mr.KHALIL HASHMI said: "there are few individuals in the world who dedicate their lives to a noble cause as you does,and you are certainly one of them! Thank you for making so many suggestions to promote bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and China,we will study them very carefully and will certainly count on you.I am very interested in the ten sectors of the" Belt and Road Cultural Interactive Atlas "you mentioned, including the cooperation between sister cities, of food and agriculture, culture and art, sports and museum cities, etc...
We will study carefully and come up with specific projects and suggestions.Thank you very much for your contribution to world peace, especially peace and development between China and Pakistan! Pakistan China relationship is very solid, it has been nurtured by generations of leaders and people on both sides; We support China in all core fundamental interests, and we also strongly support President Xi's proposals for the Global Development Initiative, Global Civilization Initiative, and Global Security Initiative. We will continue to promote the implementation of these initiatives in Pakistan and work with the Chinese people to promote world peace, reduce wars, and reduce the use of military weapons.
