On January 11th , 2024, Algerian Ambassador to China, , H.E. Mr. KAID SLIMANE Lahcene held active and effective talks In the Peace Garden Museum with Professor Li Ruohong, Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation and President of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation , on deepening the "Belt&Road" cooperation and strengthening the exchanges between China and Algeria.They had friendly and in-depth discussions on a series of public welfare cooperation projects among China, the Arab League, the African Union, and Mediterranean countries, covering the themes of peace and security, global governance, economics and culture, intangible cultural heritage protection, museums, infrastructure, agriculture, and youth growth.

Ambassador Lahcene introduced that recently, the Algerian President visited China and reached a consensus on cooperation with Chairman Xi Jinping. After visiting the museum and watching the documentary, he expressed that all industries in Algeria warmly welcome China's joint cooperation, and we hope to jointly promote the historic and sustainable friendship between the Chinese and Arab peoples. His inscription for the Peace Landscape Stone is：“Long live to China and Algeria Friendship and Peace and Cooperation and Solidarity”
