On February 16, 2022, the DPRK Embassy to China held a grand event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the Korean people. Professor Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation and  Beijing international Peace Culture Foundation,held friendly talks with DPRK Ambassador to China H.E.Li Longnan after having presented a flower basket and visited the photo exhibition of "immortal achievements" to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the birth of the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il, DPRK Cultural Counselor Ho Un Hyok(허은혁) accompanying Professor Li during the whole visit.  

They discussed the topics of international uncertainty, alleviating regional conflicts, fighting against COVID-19, cultural and art, traditional medicine and youth exchanges, in order to promote international exchanges between the two peoples.

Ambassador Li Longnan thanked Professor Li Ruohong and the Foundation for their long-term contributions to promoting DPRK China friendship. He said that he completely agrees with Professor Li Ruohong's profound views on history and reality. In the future, we should strengthen bilateral cooperation and strive for world peace.
