MSM Peace Garden Concert on the 45th Anniversary of the China-US Diplomatic Relations

On the occasion of the 45th  anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, a delegation of world-renowned artists from the Manhattan School of Music, led by Dr. James Gandre, visited the Peace Garden Museum in Beijing on April 12th . They jointly held two unique global alumni music gatherings with the theme of "Music Spring of Peace Garden ".


Dr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation and President of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, warmly welcomed the alumni of the MSM from all over the world. During the meeting with President James Gander, Dr.Li introduced the 371 Peace Garden Classical Music Salons which has been welcoming of the by the international community,the"Belt and Road" cultural interaction with UNESCO, and the "Peace+1" that has long promoted cultural diversity. President Li Ruohong said that music has no borders, and Peace Garden, a major door for exchanges and cooperation between governments and people in various countries, is open to the Manhattan School of Music in the United States and music artists all around the world. President Gander said, "Thank the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation for collaborating with the MSM to share music, art, and youth development. I often organize musicians from Israel, Arabia, Russia, and Ukraine to play music for peace. When the music is played , the musicians’ nationality and race were all forgotten.". After visiting the "Belt and Road" collection exhibition in Beijing Peace Garden Museum, Musicians from both countries and alumni from various regions are looking forward to more exchanges and the development of more peace and public welfare projects in a harmonious and warm atmosphere..
