On August 20th, Li Ruohong, Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation and President of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, attended the opening ceremony of the 11th  Member Representative Conference of the Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch(RCSCBB). Yin Li, Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, Chen Zhu, President of the Red Cross Society of China, Yin Yong, Mayor of Beijing city, officials from the International Red Cross Society, and 800 representatives and volunteers attended the meeting. Secretary Yin Li and President Chen Zhu delivered speeches to commend the positive contributions of the Red Cross, and the conference elected members of important positions such as directors, supervisors, and president.
