On October 12th , 2024, the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, adhering to the noble concept of "spreading warmth with love, enlightening the mind with aesthetic education, and building the future with public welfare", under the leadership of Chairman Li Ruohong, joined hands with traditional cultural representatives such as Professor Xu Xiaoyang, the grandson of Mr. Xu Beihong, and Qin Zhen, the world champion of Wudang Songxi Martial Arts, to enter the long history Luhe Middle School and bring a meaningful cultural public welfare education to the teachers and students.

As a school with profound historical heritage and excellent traditions, Luhe Middle School's principal Hao Chen, alumni association leader Sun Huiqin, and others introduced the school's glorious history to Dr. Li Ruohong and his delegation. The many outstanding talents it has cultivated, such as Hou Renzhi, Huang Kun, Wang Luobin, who have made outstanding contributions to the development of Chinese society in different fields. After visiting the campus together, both parties reached a consensus that as the future builders and successors of society, the development potential, innovation ability, social responsibility, and cultural heritage awareness of young people play a decisive role in the future direction of the world.

During the event, Dr. Li Ruohong donated 100,000 RMB in cash on behalf of the foundation to support the educational work of the alumni association at Luhe Middle School. The two sides also signed a cooperation agreement, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation in various areas such as public welfare activities, academic exchanges, and talent cultivation.

Secretary General Wang Hongzhuan of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation introduced to the students and teachers in details of the international, philanthropic, and cultural characteristics of the foundation's peace and public welfare and civil diplomacy work, allowing teachers and students to have a deeper understanding of the foundation's work.

Professor Xu Xiaoyang not only introduced the life and achievements of Xu Beihong in art and education, but also brought digital Chinese painting works that promote traditional culture with modern technology, allowing students to imitate Mr. Xu Beihong's classic work "Running on the Horse" on site and experience the charm of combining traditional culture and modern technology in practice.

Qin Zhen, the successor of Wudang Songxi Martial Arts, shared his personal experience and insights with his classmates on the process of learning and striving, and conducted live Tai Chi performances and interactions, giving them a more intuitive understanding of the inheritance and development of traditional culture.

This public welfare event combines public welfare actions with cultural heritage, and integrates various forms such as performance, teaching, and interaction, which has won high praises from teachers and students. The applause at the event was continuous, and the atmosphere was warm. Everyone unanimously expressed that they will continue to strengthen cooperation, engage in interactive cooperation in more content and forms, and work together to promote the growth of young people and the inheritance and development of culture. We believe that with the joint efforts of both sides, we will make greater contributions to cultivating a new generation of talents with social responsibility and cultural heritage awareness, and inject new vitality and momentum into public welfare and cultural heritage undertakings.
