On February 13th , at the beginning of the Chinese New Year, Chairman Li Ruohong of the China World Peace Foundation was invited to attend the 83rd  anniversary commemoration of Kim Jong il's birth held at the DPRK Embassy. After DPRK Ambassador to China H.E.Mr. Li Longnan and Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference H.E.Mr.Zhou Qiang delivered speeches successively,representatives from the parties, governments, armies, and international organizations of the two countries raised their glasses to celebrate the 80th  anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, the victory of the World Anti Fascist War, and the 75th  anniversary of the victory of the Anti Japanese War this year. During the event, Chairman Li exchanged pleasantries with Vice Chairman H.E.Mr.Zhou Qiang of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and H.E.Mr. Li Longnan, the DPRK Ambassador to China. He also had friendly exchanges with the DPRK Embassy Political Counselor, Cultural Counselor, Education Counselor, and Chinese official representatives., all wishing the leaders of P.R.C. and DPRK good health. Long live the friendship between the two peoples.
