Peace Garden holds serial events with Multinational Companies

Beijing Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment held work conference at Peace Garden Museum on August 1st. More than 30 delegates from foreign banking, insurance, manufacture, electric, science and technology and consumption companies, as well as senior officials from Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau, attended the meeting.

Guests viewed“Sino-African Forest of Friendship”and Peace Stones along the lotus lake and enjoyed paintings by children from over 50 countries: “Peace In The Eyes Of Kids.”

Professor Li Ruohong, chairman of China World Peace Foundation, introduced diplomatic gifts and collections exhibition at the museum and invited visiting guests to sign on the famous“Peace Piano”.

Senior company officials from Bank of Montreal, HSBC Holdings, ABN AMRO, Mizuho Bank, MetLife, Siemens, Schneider Electric, MITSUI & CO., LTD, Motorola, Alstom, Veolia Environmental Services and others attended the meeting co-organized by the Beijing Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment and Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau. Mr. Zhou Weimin, director of Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau, and Mr. Xing Gongjie, chairman of Beijing Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, answered questions on the development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei integration and other questions like Beijing’s city development as an international cultural communication center, environmental protection, investment promotion, improvement of public transportation and communications, as well as questions on macro level policy making.
