On August 23rd , the 9th FIAP Photo Meeting grandly kicked off. Li Ruohong, Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation and President of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, Jiang Difei, Vice Governor of Hunan Province, and Ricardo Busi, Chairman of FIAP, attended the event together with professional photographers from around the world.

As the top-level event known as the "Olympics" of the global photography world, this meeting has attracted photographers from over 40 countries including the United States, Germany, France, Australia, Japan, Iran, Greece, Monaco, New Zealand, and South Korea,etc.. This meeting, which rotates every two years in different cultural countries, not only provides a cross-border platform for creators from various countries to exchange and showcase, but also uses light and shadow as a link to interpret the eternal circulation and vitality of the spirit of photography, allowing diverse cultures to achieve deep resonance under the lens.

During the meeting, Chairman Li Ruohong introduced the cooperation between the Foundation and UNESCO on the Silk Road Youth Photography Competition to Chairman Busi of FIAP and presented him with a photography album. Chairman Li also had in-depth discussions with Iranian photographer Mr. Reza on topics such as children's photography education, cultivating young people's affinity for the natural environment through images, and Silk Road youth photography cooperation, injecting new ideas into promoting international photography cultural exchanges.
