CWPF peace culture delegation leaves Mali for Beijing

Chinese Shaolin Peace Culture Delegation headed by Ms.Xiao Kejian, Deputy Secretary General of China World Peace Foundation (CWPF) successfully completed its peace culture spreading mission to Africa with the cooperation of CWPF and UNESCO and left Mali for Beijing viaParis loaded with honors.

Before the departure, Mr.Lazare Eloundou,the Representative of UNESCO to Mali held a farewell banquet for the delegationin a Malian famous hotel. At the banquet, the Representative thanked CWPF and UNESCO for selecting Mali as its destination and was grateful as well for its comingto Mali in spite of the Ebola epidemic. The delegation propagated peace in Bamakobut Segou region several hundred kilometers away.

Moumouni Sylla, Minister of Youth Ministryof Mali kindly met with all the members of the delegation in his office andexpressed his greeting to Li Ruohong, Chairman of CWPF. He also presented aleather memorial plaque to the delegation designed as an ancient Malian gate,symbolizing the gate of Mali is open to CWPF for ever. You are welcome to Malianytime. He said that the cooperation between CWPF and UNESCO to spread peaceculture idea to the Malian youth through Chinese Shaolin martial art was veryimportant for Mali which has just experienced civil strife. He hoped ChineseShaolin monks could often come to Mali and Malian youth could go to China tolearn martial art. The head of the delegation said to the minister that hewould be warmly welcome to visit China.
